- Maintain an active Top Secret clearance.
- Have at least 5 years of dedicated Department of War cybersecurity experience executing the Risk Management Framework under National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53.
- Hold an Information Assurance Manager Level III certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Certified Information Security Officer.
- Understand cybersecurity in Department of Defense cloud infrastructure.
- Know Agile methodologies, including continuous integration and continuous delivery, DevSecOps, and DevOps.
- Have experience with systems analysis and eMASS.

- Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide compliance, Risk Management Framework implementation and documentation, Department of Defense cybersecurity policies and compliance, System Authorization and Accreditation processes, Department of Defense cloud infrastructure security, security risk and vulnerability planning, contingency planning, Public Key Infrastructure management, access control, and classified material handling and accountability.
- Support the Command, Control, Communications/Kessel Run division as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer.
- Assist with the implementation, maintenance, and operation of the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution suite of tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain Assured Compliance Assessment Solution components, including Nessus scanners, SecurityCenter/Tenable.sc, and Nessus Network Monitor/Tenable.asm.
- Schedule and execute vulnerability scans using Nessus scanners.
- Analyze scan results to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Direct Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide-based configuration hardening across multi-classification networks.
- Assist with compliance assessments against Department of War standards and internal security policies.
- Generate reports on vulnerability status, compliance posture, and remediation progress.
- Collaborate with system administrators to facilitate vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Assist with system administration tasks for Assured Compliance Assessment Solution servers and databases.
- Manage cybersecurity incident reporting and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Develop corrective action plans and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones.
- Stay current on vulnerability trends and security threats.
- A bachelor's degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited educational program.
- 10-15 years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline, including 10 years in the Department of Defense.
