This technology aims to significantly reduce travel times for airlines and government agencies interested in high-speed transportation. The aircraft's engine is powered by the Pratt & Whitney F100 turbine, and the company has recently achieved a key milestone by successfully testing this engine. Hermeus generates revenue by producing and selling these high-speed aircraft. With strong investor support, including a recent $100 million funding round led by Sam Altman, Hermeus is focused on advancing its technology to transform the aerospace industry.
