Requirements
  • PhD in marketing or a closely related field
  • At least six years of experience as a full-time, tenure track or tenured faculty member, with an outstanding record of scholarship eligible for a tenured position at Iowa State University
  • Must meet the college’s standards to be Scholarly Academic Qualified under AACSB Accreditation standards
  • An established record of publishing consumer behavior research in premier marketing journals (such as the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing)
  • A record of effective teaching of marketing courses
Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will conduct high-impact scholarly research publishable in premier and high-quality marketing journals and will teach marketing-related courses at the undergraduate, Master’s, and/or PhD levels
  • The candidate is expected to significantly grow and shape the department’s research profile
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the graduate level
  • An influential research pipeline, including papers invited for revision at premier journals
  • Experience in mentoring junior faculty and/or doctoral students
