Requirements
  • PhD candidate with independent research experience in CS, EE, BME, robotics; exceptional MS candidate can be considered
  • Solid foundation on mathematics and analytical skills.
  • Excellent programming skill to turn concepts into reality in C++ and Python
  • Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Expertise in one or more of the following technical areas: 3d geometric computer vision: camera calibration, pose estimation, bundle adjustment, Deep learning, Image segmentation, Image registration (2d-3d, 3d-3d), Tomographic reconstruction, Simulation and data synthesis, 3d graphics and visualization, Image guided surgery systems
  • Familiarity with tools in respective areas such as OpenCV, ITK, VTK, DL frameworks.
Responsibilities
  • Work with a mentor to explore the feasibility of one or more advanced product concepts for image guided procedures
  • Research, implement and iterate advanced algorithms and prototypes to prove technical feasibility and clinical value
  • Design and implement testing and evaluation methods to iterate solution
  • Contribute to the development of product features
