Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, speech pathology, education, or other related field with at least 4 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient use of document and project/data management software, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook), REDCap, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Values the contributions of others in the work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of federally funded research projects with internal and external collaborators facilitate regular team meetings, document research team decisions, track project milestones.
  • Oversee recruitment strategies of research participants throughout Texas; Monitor participant retention and engagement.
  • Supervise and assist with research data collection, including developmental, language, motor, and autism assessments and parent interviews; implement research fidelity protocols; conduct quality control procedures to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Assist in the supervision and training of research assistants; Develop training materials and protocols for standardized assessment and interview administration and ethical research conduct.
  • Assist in the development of progress reports, amendments, and renewals to university IRB and funding agencies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in psychology, social work, speech pathology, education, or other related field with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with developmental assessments (e.g., Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development, Differential Ability Scales-2 Early Years) and working with young children.
  • Prior experience working with young children with autism and developmental disabilities and their families.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) in English and Spanish and interact skillfully with investigators, staff, and partnering organizations.
