Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of store and warehouse processes.
  • Select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline warehouse employees; communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job contributions; recommend compensation actions; and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, and identifying warehouse system improvements.
  • Meet warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Schedule materials to be moved to and from the warehouse and coordinate inventory transfers with related departments.
  • Receive and transfer supplies and equipment to departments.
  • Maintain storage areas by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements.
  • Maintain inventory through monthly physical counts, variance reconciliation, and data entry.
  • Secure the warehouse by activating alarms and testing security systems.
  • Keep equipment operational by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance, and arranging repairs.
  • Maintain job knowledge through educational opportunities and technical publications.
  • Complete related warehouse and organizational duties as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety and security activities, programs, and procedures.
  • Review safety, security, and compliance publications in Centrik, LEON, emails, or other suitable sources.
  • Follow established procedures without taking shortcuts.
  • Assist with safety and security investigations.
  • Report safety hazards, security threats, errors, safety events, and incidents by completing safety reports in Centrik.
  • Provide feedback to managers on implemented corrective or mitigating actions and other changes.
  • Propose improvements to management systems.
  • Participate in enterprise resource planning exercises and deployments according to company policies and procedures and assigned duties in the AEROTRANSCARGO Emergency Response Plan.
  • Support compliance audits, security inspections, and safety surveys.
