Job Description:

As an Engineering Manager at Skillz, you will lead high-performing teams responsible for building scalable services with a focus on reliability, uptime, and cost-efficiency. You’ll be a hands-on leader, coaching and motivating engineers while driving innovation and ensuring technical excellence. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to prioritise features, manage risks, and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. You'll work with product and engineering leadership to track schedules, dependencies, and critical paths.

• Experience in "React Native" mobile development.
•  in mobile development for Android and iOS, including maintenance and review, using at least two languages from this list: React Native (JavaScript, TypeScript), Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift.
• Experience in the gaming industry or with payment systems is a plus.
• Proven hands-on leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams with a healthy tenure (2+ years per role) and a strong track record of promotions.
• Ability to work in-office on a Hybrid setup in Bangalore. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
