Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) designation preferred
  • ACI Field Level 1 preferred
  • Nuclear Safety Certified preferred
Responsibilities
  • Performs field density testing of soil, asphalt and aggregate
  • Performs field quality control tests on plastic concrete
  • Performs routine laboratory testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials
  • Observes foundation installation operations
  • Observes non-destructive tests on welded and bolted connections when certification is not required
  • Observes reinforcing steel
  • Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
