Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in DevSecOps, configuration management, telemetry, and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing. This role involves integrating and testing software with a focus on ensuring data flow, ingestion, and spoofing hardware messages for comprehensive validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement software test protocols to evaluate product performance and reliability.
Manage configuration, telemetry, and data flow for software systems.
Integrate and test software components, ensuring seamless data ingestion.
Conduct HITL testing to validate system functionality in realistic environments.
Utilize HPC (High Performance Computing) resources to optimize testing processes.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for testing procedures and outcomes.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a software test engineer, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
Proficiency in DevSecOps practices and configuration management tools.
Experience with telemetry systems and data flow management.
Strong understanding of HITL testing and the ability to spoof hardware messages.
Familiarity with HPC environments and their application in software testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
