Requirements
- Minimum (5) years of experience closing business within large hospital systems or IDNs throughout the state of Florida with focus on women's health, genetics, molecular diagnostics, or medical device space
- Demonstrated and consistent track record of sales success (eg. President's Club, Chairman's Club, Circle of Excellence or equivalent national awards required), solid negotiation and closing skills, strong data analysis skills, understanding of buyer/decision maker types, exhibit effective selling, listening, presentation skills, strong focus on pull through, and solid follow through skills
- Ability to communicate with C-Suite with strong clinical and business acumen (written and verbal), and demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers
- Familiarity with the payor and reimbursement environment in the molecular diagnostics space
- Effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize opportunities
- Exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated and results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically
- Must act with a sense of urgency, with a focus on closing business
- Ability to assess the needs of executives and providers at large health systems with a focus on consultative sales, coordination of logistics, and creative problem solving
- Strong desire to manage new business development opportunities for strategic accounts in a startup environment
Responsibilities
- Work closely with executive management to develop a comprehensive, data-driven business development strategy throughout Florida
- Analyze potential opportunities and develop individualized sales plans for each target account
- Structure proposals and negotiate final deal terms
- Manage follow-up related to the deal and completion of written agreements
- Enhance ongoing relationships with client organizations, and monitor customer satisfaction with proactive and consistent communication
- Use data to analyze sales results, identify industry trends, and stay abreast of the competitive landscape to increase expansion opportunities
