.Net Architect / Technical Architect

Summary:

We are looking for a Tech Lead to join our growing cross-functional Engineering team (Individual Marketplace) and build out the next generation of health insurance marketplace products. Colleagues will need to draw from your technical knowledge, research abilities, and problem-solving skills. The candidate will be a leader that motivates and coaches a team to deliver results that drive measurable business impact. Ultimately, the successful candidate will play a key role in creating software that helps our customers make critically important health care decisions with confidence.

Role:

We are looking for a Tech Lead to join our team. You should value expertise and a passion for the craft of Software Engineering. You should be able to recognize and stay up to date on current techniques and tools, but also be prudent knowing what is and isn’t a good fit.

• Candidate will be in pivotal role who will be the bridge between the architecture practice team and respective dev team to adhere the architecture priciples and best practices.
• Be a dedicated mentor for a cross-functional team consisting of software and database engineers based in different locations
• Conduct one on one coaching sessions with team members to assist in their career development
• Unblock team members with technical roadblocks
• Support in building software primarily using C# on .NET and/or .NET Core, along with MS-SQL(T-SQL),React.js that target to Azure native solutions.
• Candidate should be well aware abuot the azure PaaS services and related best practices and patterns. 
• Design the database changes and programing partterns 
• Perform code reviews
• Work closely with Product Management to represent the technical challenges of your application
• Encourage research and experimentation within the team to find the best technology solution
• Facilitate the vision of management, and represent the team to management
• Assist with interviewing new candidates as needed
• Work with cross-functional disciplines such as UX, Product Management, and Systems Engineering

Requirements:

• BE, BTech or MCA with minimum 10+ years plus of experience in Software Development. 
• Experience collaborating with and uniting remote team members
• Should be hand-on on with C# which includes modern web frameworks like ASP.NET Core Web API, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC C# frameworks etc.
• Experience with MS SQL Server including data modeling, data governance, and ETLs
• Candidate should have hands-on experience in term of modern software design and development patterns.
• Candidate should be hand-on handling Azure Paas services to build the azure native solution(s).
• Experience with ReactJS is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD practices. (Github and Github Actions familiarity is a plus).
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with API design, microservices, and messaging patterns
• Familiar with indicators that define a high-functioning team
• Accept ownership of your work and overall projects
• Good at communicating ideas as well as hearing others
• Available for flexible work schedule to have overlap with US onshore teams
