Requirements
  • High school graduation or GED.
  • Three years of administrative experience.
  • Experience working in a warehouse or shop setting.
  • Experience with high-volume inventory.
  • Solid administrative and computer skills.
  • A criminal history background check is required for finalists under consideration.
  • Applicants must provide acceptable original documents proving their identity and authorization to work in the United States after hiring.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily inventory management, process inventory-related activity, identify and report errors, track materials, prepare purchase requisitions, monitor warehouse stock, initiate procurement activity, communicate with vendors, confirm purchase accuracy, correct invoices, and route invoices to Accounts Payable with payment approval.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned facilities shops by greeting guests and vendors, answering the main phone line, making appointments, scheduling meetings, reserving rooms, composing and editing correspondence, auditing work-order data, assisting with technician timesheets, monitoring work-order phase closure, distributing mail and copier output, supporting systems assessments, training staff, and resolving technician issues involving UT Works and technician iPads.
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers, check invoices before payment routing, order uniforms, follow up on deliveries, pick up and deliver materials, provide backup to staff supporting other facilities shops, and perform other assigned duties.
  • Work 40 hours per week from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in a standard office environment with lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, manual dexterity, and repetitive keyboard use.

  • Familiarity with AssetWorks.
