Requirements
  • At least five years of demonstrated experience applying enterprise Knowledge Management principles, with emphasis on delivering Knowledge Management training and curriculum using Learning Management System platforms, enabling cross-functional knowledge sharing and Communities of Practice, and supporting Knowledge Management governance.
  • Completion of the United States Army Knowledge Management Qualification Course.
  • Basic proficiency with SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365), including lists, libraries, sites, permissions, and content organization.
  • An active Secret security clearance.
  • A bachelor's or higher degree.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct or facilitate a minimum of four Knowledge Management Representative Courses per year and develop and deliver course content aligned with Knowledge Management doctrine, standards, tools, and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Government, Department of War organizations, and other stakeholders to design, refine, and modernize Knowledge Management curriculum content, incorporating civilian industry Knowledge Management best practices when feasible.
  • Develop standardized Knowledge Management educational briefings for the Newcomer Orientation Course, Supervisor Course, and Action Officer Course.
  • Establish and facilitate the Knowledge Management Representative Community of Practice to provide ongoing collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Manage course logistics, including registration information, parking assistance, memoranda of instruction, sign-in rosters, handouts and folders, course evaluations and feedback, and publication of course materials to the appropriate Knowledge Management repository following established metadata and taxonomy standards.
  • Design, deliver, and maintain Knowledge Management training using virtual, in-person, hybrid, and Learning Management System delivery models, and develop practical job aids and quick-reference guides.
  • Maintain and verify Knowledge Management training and culture-building metrics, including the number of Knowledge Management Representatives appointed, the number trained, and scored maturity models, and report them in monthly status reports and quarterly or annual roll-ups.
  • Ensure students understand their roles in Knowledge Management governance, decision-support processes, and knowledge-sharing behaviors, and update training materials to reflect changes in Knowledge Management tools, governance, systems, or enterprise needs.
  • Use baseline SharePoint Online proficiency to publish, organize, and manage training artifacts within the Knowledge Management repository with proper metadata and version control.
  • Travel to off-site training locations and select states and territories as required to conduct courses, and coordinate shipment of training aids as needed.
