Nemera launches bi-dose nasal spray solution. 3 September 2026 Drug delivery device company Nemera has announced its DuoSpray bi-dose nasal spray platform, a 'non-invasive, needle free' administration alternative for systemic nasal therapies. The company adds that the platform is designed to offer 'rapid onset of action' and enable patients to self-administer without intervention from healthcare professionals. DuoSpray delivers two metered doses within a single device for acute therapies. The new solution compliments the company's commercially available UniSpray platform, which is most suitable for lifesaving and crisis applications. When combined, Nemera says the two solutions provide a platform for systemic intramucosal nasal administration, with various formats depending on the intended use, drug posology and product-specific development strategy. According to Nemera, DuoSpray's robust design makes it compatible with industry-standard primary containers and conventional filling lines, seeking to de-risk industrialization and help accelerate development timelines. The solution can deliver 200 μL of liquid formulation through two metered doses of 100μL with an integrated visual dose indicator. It also features a broad labelling surface and can be customized depending on product-specific needs.
