Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related discipline from an accredited university or institution is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with the procurement of materials and equipment within the defense industry.
  • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as LMAP with associated knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirements.
  • Ability to interpret policies/procedures and apply concepts.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivated
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare bid packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, select or recommend subcontractors.
  • Perform price analysis and use cost evaluations for the development of pre-negotiation strategies.
  • Support negotiations, lead subcontract/PO documentation.
  • Interface with government clients, technical personnel, and other functional organizations.
  • Work with the subcontract management team, program management, and other areas of the business for the timely conclusion of contract matters and resolution of issues.
