Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, AI Engineering & Computing, Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or early-career candidate with up to 2 years of post-graduate experience, including internships, academic projects, or work experience demonstrating business problem-solving, analytical thinking, professional communication, AI-enabled ways of working, and a proactive, forward-deployed Business Analyst mindset.
  • Foundational ability to leverage artificial intelligence and generative artificial intelligence tools, prompt engineering, and modern productivity platforms for business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, research, testing support, and stakeholder-ready deliverables, while validating and improving AI-generated outputs through responsible AI governance concepts.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to support advanced data analysis, develop insights and analytics, and create clear presentations and communications.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership, teamwork, and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to work with business and technology stakeholders, synthesize ambiguity, ask thoughtful questions, identify gaps, and drive work forward in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Foundational understanding of, or demonstrated interest in, the financial services industry, including products, operations, regulatory requirements, technology, and business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Apply consulting tools and artificial intelligence-enabled, no-code, low-code, automation, and analytics platforms to accelerate research, analysis, documentation, prototyping, process mapping, stakeholder alignment, and delivery execution.
  • Define agent responsibilities, decision boundaries, escalation paths, and human-in-the-loop controls for safe, reliable, and compliant operation within financial services environments.
  • Work directly with client business, operations, product, data, and technology teams to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, technical constraints, stakeholder priorities, and desired business outcomes.
  • Assess current-state processes, systems, data flows, risks, dependencies, and pain points to identify root causes and evaluate business impacts.
  • Help define the design and implementation of strategic initiatives incorporating traditional and AI-enabled solutions, including operating model transformation, system implementations, and process optimization.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, data requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
  • Partner with product owners, engineers, architects, data teams, and client stakeholders to support solution design, system implementation, workflow optimization, integration planning, user acceptance testing, validation, and implementation readiness.
  • Own assigned tasks and deliverables by managing timelines and tracking risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies; communicate progress and help drive initiatives from analysis through execution.
  • Prepare presentations, executive summaries, business cases, impact assessments, process documentation, status reports, meeting outputs, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support proposals and business development initiatives, including client presentations and thought leadership, and contribute perspectives on digital, data, and artificial intelligence trends within financial services.

Sia acquires Kaiser Associates to launch global corporate strategy and M&A business line

Sia, a global management consulting group, has acquired Kaiser Associates, a US-based strategy consulting firm, to launch a dedicated Corporate Strategy, Private Equity and M&A business line spanning the US, UK, France, Middle East and Australia. Founded in 1981, Kaiser Associates brings 65 consultants and operates from Washington, D.C., New York and London. The firm specialises in go-to-market strategy, growth assessments and market landscaping for Fortune 500 executives and private equity funds. Kaiser Associates' leadership team, including Ali Cumber, Paul Mumma and Jon Meyerholz, will join Sia as partners, with Meyerholz heading the new business line as managing partner.
