  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of professional relevant experience, with at least 2+ years working with Army Aviation, Information Technology, system automation, or intelligent systems.
  • Significant experience conducting transportability analyses and recommending solutions for aviation and military programs.
  • Knowledge of transportation methods and networks (air, land, and sea) authorized for military logistics, including logistics compliance tied to DoD-approved regulations.
  • Familiarity with AH-64 technical manuals and lifecycle management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Army Standard tools, including Logistics Modernization Program (Logistics Modernization Program) (LMP), Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), and modeling/simulation tools for optimizing movement operations.
  • Analytical proficiency in assessing transport risks and proposing effective mitigation strategies tailored to diverse operational tempos (OPTEMPO).
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory compliance tied to packaging, handling, storage, and PHS&T operations for mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
  • Transportability Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses and provide actionable recommendations to resolve transportability and portability item issues, ensuring materiel readiness for training, remanufacturing, and deployment operations.
  • Lifecycle Optimization: Evaluate transportation modes and networks authorized for air, land, and sea to meet evolving program requirements across all lifecycle phases from development to sustainment.
  • Documentation & Coordination: Contribute to developing, coordinating, and updating packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) documents to maintain accuracy and compliance with AH-64 technical manuals and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with government representatives and stakeholders to prioritize and resolve transportation bottlenecks, performance issues, and risks through innovative and mission-aligned solutions.
  • Government Furnished Property (GFP) Management: Support executing and tracking GFP stored or moved under direction of the AAH PO, ensuring accountability and compliance with government-approved management systems.
  • Secure Transport Operations: Assist secure packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of Communications Security (COMSEC) and Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI), adhering to security policies and protecting classified materials.

  • Familiarity with Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) compliance and handling processes.
  • Understanding of Army logistics systems, including Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) coding and National Stock Number (NSN) assignment procedures.
  • Expertise in monitoring and managing GFP accountability using government systems.
