Requirements
  • Fluency in Excel/Google Sheets and solid experience with SQL
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, consulting, business intelligence, or similar role
  • A natural teacher and collaborator, able to explain complex data in a simple, compelling way to diverse, non-technical teams
  • Passion for the full lifecycle of digital content—from creation and distribution to engagement and monetization
  • A deep curiosity for spotting trends and the drive to solve puzzles with data

  • A self-starter who thrives on testing, learning, and iterating quickly
Responsibilities
  • Uncover trends and share the story: Dive deep into our data to find the 'why' behind our performance
  • Lead testing strategies across the reader journey: Partner with stakeholders to design experiments that test content and distribution tactics
  • Empower our teams with data: Build and maintain clear, insightful dashboards (Tableau, Looker Studio)
  • Be a hands-on strategic partner: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with key teams, turning analysis into innovative story ideas
  • Get your hands dirty with data: Use SQL to query databases and wrangle datasets to answer pressing questions about readers
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with tools like Tableau, Looker Studio, BigQuery, Google Analytics, or Parse.ly is a major plus
  • Familiarity with Python or R is a bonus
