- Wash clothes according to StepStone and hotel standards.
- Sort dried articles by item type and check them for stains and damage.
- Fold articles and place them in appropriate storage racks.
- Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in a vat to precondition them for washing.
- Use bio-red bags for contaminated articles when they are found.
- Soak articles in bleach according to procedure.
- Pretreat stains with special solutions using safety precautions and proper procedures.
- Check and clean all washer and dryer filters every two hours.
- Deliver linen to closets as needed.
- Make rounds to pull dirty linen from housekeeping carts as needed.
- Assist with monthly linen inventory.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- High school education is preferred.
- Additional language ability is preferred.
