Requirements
  • knowledge of electrical engineering with a strong applications focus
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of circuit design techniques, semiconductor device physics, signal processing, RF/ microwave engineering, or measurement techniques for high-bandwidth and high fidelity analog signals
  • Expected experience of BA/BS + 6 years of industry experience, MS + 4 years of industry experience, or doctoral degree

  • Must have or be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance
Responsibilities
  • Create and perform advanced measurements that utilize spin qubits to fully validate control systems
  • Develop, implement, and document measurement techniques and use them to characterize control system performance, including signal generation and transmission
  • Design and test of analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits including data converters, signal generation and signal processing circuits, and RF/ microwave electronics
  • Contribute to specification and design of custom electronic equipment
  • Perform on a highly collaborative technical teams that tackle high-risk, high-impact qubit control problems
  • Become an expert at spin qubit control and advise component teams on how to balance a complex trade space spanning simplicity, diagnostic capability, control fidelity, etc.
