The Job
We are looking for aTechnical Consultant ideally with strong technical knowledge of Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue to play a key role in the design and rollout of the platform across AVEVA and to provide support for the Production system.
The technical consultant will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing Zuora’s solutions for AVEVA. Collaborating with cross-functional teamsto ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise in Zuora’s platform will drive business outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
The Subscriptions ManagementTechnical Consultant will demonstrate competencies in the following areas:
Design and oversee the integration of Zuora with other business systems, ensuring seamless order lifecycle management.
Create and manageZuora Workflows.
Creating Data Queries and Reports
Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and provide solutions to complex problems.
Advisory & continuous improvement
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
Keep up to date with Zuora roadmap developments for in scope processes and modules
Identify opportunities for technical improvement and recommend changes to optimize system performance.
Assist functional consultant in the preparation of test cases, test scripts for core functionalities, new enhancements and defect resolution tests
Prepare and maintain all technical deliverables
Work with integration and data teams in documenting integration, conversion requirements and designs
Perform technical reviews of configuration (& code if any)
Perform impact assessment of interface changes
Create release notes for deployment of changes and present at release board
Support IT PMs and BAs with information required for new project initiation & delivery
Analyse and troubleshoot Production issues, working with users, IT and 3rd Party Applications Management Service Team and other technical teams to identify root causes and resolutions
Work with Zuora Product team in finding solutions to complex problems
Support the integration teams (MuleSoft) in development and incident resolution.
Be available to GPOs/business stakeholders to help answer questions
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions regarding technical deployments to the Zuora support team.
Provide ongoing support during and after implementation.
Triage Zuora error reports.
Skills and qualifications:
A minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development discipline
The individual ensures good IT process & controls and collaborates with IT to support the business:
Good understanding of Release Management processes
Experience of Configuration management and control software or manual documentation of Oracle system configurations/setups and maintenance of Workbook documentation
Experience analysing and troubleshooting issues and developing solutions with tenacity to address root causes
Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required
Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
Experience of design and solutioning of Zuora is essential
A broad experience of subscription tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expertise in the Zuora platform, including billing, invoicing, payments, and finance modules.
Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and their integration with Zuora.
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and their integration with Zuora
Zuora certification is highly desirable.
Experience with RESTful API integration.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver on time and on budget.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders and team members.
Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security
Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
Ability to work with developers
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments but specifically around Salesforce technologies.
Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
Proven experience as a Technical Architect with a focus on Zuora Subscription Management and Order Lifecycle Management.
Strong understanding of subscription management concepts, finance, and revenue recognition principles.
