Requirements
- Previous experience as an automotive Parts Advisor is required.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems is required.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to navigate electronic parts catalogs are required.
- Experience with dealership management systems is required; CDK experience is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians with accurate and timely parts lookup and fulfillment.
- Sell parts and accessories to retail and wholesale customers.
- Identify parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software.
- Maintain accurate inventory control, stocking, and organization of the parts department.
- Process special orders, returns, warranty parts, and core returns.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs.
- Maintain clean, organized parts storage areas and displays.
- Work closely with service advisors to ensure efficient repair order completion.
- Provide customer service in person and over the phone.
- Follow dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
- CDJR or original equipment manufacturer dealership experience is preferred.
