Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least two years of sales experience is required.
  • The ability to work flexible business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional overtime, is required.
  • The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to five pounds for 5% or less of the workday is required.
  • The ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 5% or less of the workday is required.
  • The ability to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason throughout the workday is required.
  • The ability to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods is required.
  • The ability to use a keyboard and perform manual tasks for prolonged periods is required.
  • Knowledge of personal computer software applications and customer relationship management databases is required.
  • The role requires interpersonal communication, organization, judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, follow-through, and the ability to apply enrollment-related information and data.
  • Employees must follow safety precautions, use personal protective equipment when required, and adhere to site-specific safety procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Interface with students in the local state area where the campus resides, determining their goals and motivations through consultative sales, open-ended questions, and active listening.
  • Deliver the Educational Value Proposition for all UTI, NTI, and MMI programs to prospective students.
  • Provide program information by telephone and in writing, and communicate school policies, processes, and procedures throughout the student life cycle.
  • Address questions and concerns about cost, financing, dress code, curriculum, tutoring, testing procedures, enrollment paperwork, cancellation policy, and related education-decision items.
  • Conduct follow-up calls throughout the student life cycle to support student success.
  • Participate in campus events and conduct tours for prospective students as needed.
  • Maintain the customer relationship management database according to company standards.
  • Establish relationships with other campus departments.
  • Perform job functions in compliance with organizational policies and state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes through admissions training meetings and required representative programs.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Academic admissions or telesales experience is preferred.
  • Minimal overnight travel may be required.
