Blog posts (HTML/Markdown knowledge not required but good to have)
Summarize dev feedback post-product launches
Social content (Twitter, Guilded, Discord)
Maintain the product launch calendar and our internal Ticketing system (Wrike/JIRA)

About the role:

As a Developer Communications Intern, you will represent the Roblox Developer community to our partners. You will help draft announcements and other content suited for the Roblox Developer Forum. You will partner with Product, Marketing, and Social teams to help launch content for new features to our community and summarize sentiment post-launch. You will report to the DevRel Advocacy: Operations Communications Lead.

You will:

Spend 90% of your time writing & editing content. Below are some examples of content you would own.

Blog posts (HTML/Markdown knowledge not required but good to have)
Summarize dev feedback post-product launches
Social content (Twitter, Guilded, Discord)
Maintain the product launch calendar and our internal Ticketing system (Wrike/JIRA)

Spend 10% of your time in Multimedia, below are examples.

Photo/Video/Gif Editing and formatting (Photoshop, Premiere)
Upload multimedia assets to DevForum or other social platforms

Location: San Mateo, CA

Duration: 12 Weeks

Please note that the listed salary is the hourly rate, and interns will not receive all benefits listed below with the exception of free food and onsite fitness center.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
