Salary Range: 70000 to 80000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

As an Electrical Engineer, you will perform entry-level design & project management tasks on a large variety of projects under the direct supervision of Milhouse Engineering management. Projects often include the design of interior and exterior lighting fire alarm systems, low voltage power distribution, motor control centers, building controls, raceway systems, power outlets, communications systems, electrical apparatus, and mechanical coordination. Engineers are encouraged to pursue training and specialization in systems such as lighting and lighting controls fire alarm systems and communication networks.
Typical design work for this position would include work on large aviation-centric facilities such as terminals, hangars, cargo facilities, and small restaurants and concession spaces. Other aviation projects include design of airfield systems ranging from underground electrical utilities, duct bank coordination, airfield lighting, lighting control systems, and vaults and navigational aids and signage.

What you will do:
- Work under the direction of senior staff perform designs of varying size.
- Learn to prepare load analysis for projects at various stages of design.
- Prepare construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Prepare drawings detailing system designed that meet client, airport and/or FAA requirements.
- Design lighting/lighting controls and perform necessary lighting level calculations.
- Select equipment and fixtures for use in the building.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines.
- Maintain Milhouse quality control standards.
- Shop drawing review and disposition.
- Prepare project documents and reports.
- Perform contract administration as required.
- Assist management as directed.
What we are looking for:
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Word Excel and Revit.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative exhibit creative problem-solving demonstrate eagerness to learn while remaining dedicated to the team.
- Knowledge of AGI32 lighting calculations software.
- Knowledge of Revit and other drafting software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
Your background:
- Four-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- 0-2 year of experience.
- EIT certificate preferred.
- Eager to pursue additional training and certifications.
