Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and/or education.
  • Five years of experience.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 0-25 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Ability to frequently use vision and depth perception at near and far distances and distinguish colors.
  • Ability to frequently use hearing and speech for oral communication and hear alarms or malfunctioning machinery.
  • Frequent keyboard use and data entry.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and grip.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of 150-200 donors and prospects and participate in each step of the donor pipeline, including identification, qualification through research, cultivation, briefing, requests for support, prompt follow-up, stewardship, and recognition.
  • Develop individual donor strategies and materials to renew and upgrade donor gifts.
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to enhance relationships and create greater fundraising and outreach possibilities.
  • Participate in the departmental portfolio review process and help maintain an organized donor stewardship system by updating constituent records as appropriate.
  • Conduct major individual gift fundraising and cultivate and solicit prospects capable of gifts at the $10,000-plus level.
  • Apply broad knowledge of fundraising principles across the gift cycle by initiating contact with potential donors, developing cultivation strategies, moving prospects toward solicitation and closure, making solicitations when appropriate, and maintaining stewardship contacts.
  • Understand the needs and interests of major donors to develop relationships between them and the foundation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
