The Manager of Regulatory Affairs interacts with external regulatory community and has a good knowledge base of telecommunications regulations globally, is familiar with development processes with a focus on telecommunications and a solid understanding of promotional activities. This role will work together with the VP of Telecommunications Services & Carrier Relations.  As well as the Compliance team and Legal representation at Five9.   Ideal candidate will have experience with accounting, legal communications, management, and leadership skills.

Description:

• Process easement documentation to include record to the appropriate agency, may process payment to landowner, along with any follow-on encroachment or ad hoc agreements

• Manage licensing, filing and reporting requirements for agencies within a business market. Oversees the standard operational procedures necessary to facilitate and maintain regulatory compliance for all levels of the organization.

• Provides direction and information to implement policies, develop company products and ensure company compliance with regulations.

• Track regulatory reporting calendar and organize supporting internal company documentation

• Participate as needed in document production and research related to data request responses

• Assist in managing various projects toward meeting regulatory and compliance requirements

• Support internal teams to adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements

• Maintain compliance with billing regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in related field is required (Finance or Legal strongly preferred)

• Telecommunications regulatory experience, including familiarity with engineering plans and projects

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting for grants and loans, pricing for bids

• Superior computer skills, particularly in Excel, with strong data mining and manipulation skills

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and achieve results on a timely basis

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to show good judgment, consistency, timeliness, and respect in decision-making
