Silgan Containers seeks a Customer Technical Services Representative to work remotely from the Kansas City area.

What You'll Do:
- Act as a technical liaison between Silgan’s manufacturing teams and our customers by delivering expert advice and technical solutions for packaging.
- Investigate, address, and resolve customer concerns, to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee customer packaging initiatives, deliver technical education, and conduct testing to meet project and quality requirements.
- Contribute to new product development initiatives, cost-saving strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure quality standards by coordinating product evaluations and testing at customer sites.
- Assess materials and review performance specifications, container applications, and materials substitutions related to customer container use.
What We Need You to Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Packaging, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written skills to engage and build customer relationships.
- Willingness to Travel domestically up to 25% annually.
