Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Function as an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team on a psychiatric patient care unit.
  • Provide patient care and supportive services directed toward patient care outcomes, maximizing patient involvement in the care plan, and maintaining productivity.
  • Accept occupational therapy referrals for assessment and intervention in performance areas for inpatient psychiatric patients with performance dysfunctions affecting daily functional ability.
  • Provide therapeutic services, including assessment, intervention, program planning, and implementation.
  • Assist with discharge planning and provide related documentation in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team.
