Requirements
  • Master’s degree in urban planning, regional planning, public policy, economics, environmental science, transportation/civil engineering, or related subjects, or equivalent professional experience. AICP preferred.
  • 8+ years of overall "hands-on" experience in transportation planning, policy, environmental issues, economics, or asset management.
  • 8+ years of project management experience working on state, regional, or local transportation plans or policy issues, as well as preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Proven business development capabilities.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and/or certification in project management.
Responsibilities
  • Will lead statewide, regional, and local transportation planning projects, as well as research projects and selected planning studies across the U.S.
  • Leading the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff.
  • Managing task or project schedules and budgets.
  • Facilitating workshops and other outreach activities.
  • Leading development of new business opportunities and proposals with a focus on state and local clients.
  • Identifying industry trends and working closely with the division senior leadership to position ICF for long-term growth.
