Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program or 5th year master’s program graduating between December 2024 and May 2025; Coursework in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong analytical writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong passion for investing

Responsibilities
  • Conducting industry and company research
  • Constructing investment memorandums to analyze and recommend prospective senior debt, project financing, mezzanine debt, and structured equity investments
  • Building dynamic financial models
  • Monitoring existing investments, including monitoring company financial statements and writing investment review documents
  • Communicating with portfolio companies
  • Preparing marketing materials
  • Participating in special, ad-hoc projects designed to benefit the Energy group and PPC more broadly
Desired Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, corporate credit analysis, or Energy corporate finance experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience and/or familiarity with the Energy sector (oil & gas exploration and production, midstream, downstream, etc.).
  • Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities.
  • Independent problem-solving skills.
