The IMS West development team is searching for a senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) manager (Vice President) that is passionate about quality assurance, engineering transformation and eager to drive strategic initiatives that enhance QA processes, practices, tools, and technology. Candidate must have a strong background in Quality Engineering, automation, test data management, and SDLC/Dev-Ops.
What you will be responsible for
The QA/QE Transformation Lead will:
- Serve as the domain expert on automation, QA tools and Test Management techniques. Drive improvements technology adoption & augmentation.
- Provide consultation on complex testing strategies for the organization with a specific bias to applying technology as a lever.
- Support any QA operating model change management efforts by communicating the benefits of initiatives and guiding teams through implementation.
- Work with various leadership to define and deliver success metrics for the transformation strategy and individual initiatives, regularly reporting on outputs and optimizing performance.

- Serve as specialist in the testing of middle office and others product applications or solutions.
- Be responsible for designing test strategy, setting the direction for testing, and carryout due diligence for automation.
- Provide leadership for test design and guidance during test specification development.
- Mentor and coach, participate in team meetings, and create Intellectual Capital assets for reuse.
- Lead test best practices implementation and testing digital transformation
- Review and approve test plans and test designs (prepared by test team and technical leaders)
- Interface with development, business teams and SDLC office to align QA practices and releases to enterprise standards and policies
- Represent QA in architecture, design and requirements inspections
- Provides technical advice and assistance to project management team
- Act as liaison to Development and Support teams
- Ensure that all the QA teams follow a common test methodology using common best practices, tools and test approach
- Cooperates in product quality assessment and analysis
- Deliver on QA KPIs and metrics and drive production release readiness
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) / Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) and 5+ years of SQA management.
- Proficiency in automation, test data management, performance testing, and other testing techniques and best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing solution architectures for QA, including cloud-based, microservices, and API testing solutions.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience leading SQA, SDET engineers including onshore and offshore QA teams. Providing management SQA reporting.
- Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.
- Expertise in QA platforms, tools, and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, etc. Proficient in JiRA and X-Ray
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc., and scripting languages, such as Shell, Groovy, etc.
- Understanding of software development life cycle, quality assurance standards, and testing methodologies
- Should have excellent presentation & communication skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure client facing setting

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $195,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
