University Physicians' Association is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Part-Time Patient Service Representative position at University Infectious Disease, located within UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients in a friendly and timely manner
• Assist patients in completing necessary forms for electronic health records 
• Maintain and update patient demographic and insurance information
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
• Ensure smooth patient flow by efficiently processing arrivals
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding registration and billing
• Direct medical-related questions to appropriate clinical staff
• Schedule appointments with the appropriate physician
• Scan documents into the electronic health record
• Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Thursday & Friday - 8AM-5PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a medical office or customer service setting.
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
