  • When a new risk is identified, conduct intake sessions with stakeholders to investigate what gaps in systems, information, or process are leading to the risk and the impact of leaving it unmitigated
  • Analyze the severity and frequency of the risk (assigning a risk score) by utilizing data, secondary research, and stakeholder feedback
  • Make recommendations on if risk needs to be mitigated using a data-driven approach and identify potential solutions using process or technology
  • Leverage strong project management skills; collaborate with Product, Engineering, Insurance Operations, and Legal teams to mitigate operational issues and risks
  • Chase down solutions end to end; if something looks wrong, you're the person who will go fix it or identify the escalation path
  • Measure key operational risk metrics and report out on progress at bi-weekly operational risk management meetings
Desired Qualifications
  • Operational risk management experience
  • Program or Project Management experience
  • A background in insurance or other regulated categories
  • Exposure to and passion for early-stage startups and/or high growth environments
  • SQL experience
