Course FDSC 525 Food Quality Assurance

Winter 2026 Term (January 5-April 30, 2026)

Note: The McGill exam sessions take place over two weeks after the end of classes, and Course Lecturers are expected to be available on the day of a scheduled final exam and are required to grade final exams as part of their contract.

Schedule and location: Lecture – Centennial Centre CCT-101 Monday/Wednesday 8:35 a.m.-9:55 a.m. and Lab – Raymond R4-045 Wednesday 1:05-3:55 p.m.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: Doctoral degree in Food Chemistry, Food Science or Food Microbiology.

Experience: Familiarity with the course/have taught the course previously, five years of teaching or industry experience.

Other qualification requirements:

Virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, WebEx) and the McGill MyCourses learning management system. Training and assistance on remote teaching is available through Teaching and Learning Services (TLS).
