SHADOW is seeking a Community Manager, who will help facilitate publishing content to agency and client social media channels, including editorial calendars and engagement with the community via comment replies and direct messages. The ideal candidate thrives in the details and radiates empathic communication. They understand people, emotions and how and when to connect with various audiences. They analyze social metrics to optimize campaign strategies, community response, and messaging on social platforms. This is a mid-level position for candidates with 2-3 years of experience, preferably in social media marketing.
What You Bring:
- Social Media Savvy: You are fluent across prevailing social platforms (Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X (Twitter), TikTok, Pinterest), with an awareness of what type of voice works best where, platform updates as they happen, and how brands are utilizing social media to communicate with their audiences. You are pop-culture obsessed, creative and witty.
- Writing skills: You are not just an excellent writer, but you are able to adjust voice and tone to accommodate a range of clients, projects and audiences. You are creative and witty, with a sense of what is resonating online.
- Communications on behalf of a brand: You have experience handling replies for a brand, whether on social media, customer service, or other.
- Nimble, Organized and Detail-Oriented: You have a buttoned up approach to project management, with ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and/or pivot quickly with the pace of social media.
- Team Oriented: You understand the essential support role you play on your accounts, and take pride in helping the team achieve its wins.
What You Do:
- Co-manage the day-to-day activity for the agency and client accounts, including support on drafting content briefs, drafting caption copy, and collaborating with the Social Manager for review.
- Own scheduling and publishing of client day-to-day content, work closely with divisional teams to ensure calendars are up to date and in line with key client launches, events and initiatives, and participate in brainstorms for select clientele.
- Drive engagement, brand loyalty, and growth on agency and client social accounts with a distinct brand voice through comments, replies, direct messages.
- Work alongside the social, creative and strategy teams to support the development of social content calendars and talent-driven initiatives with community insights from active social listening.
- Manage all aspects of publishing approved content to corresponding social channels, whether in real time or scheduled in advance. This will include moments when posts will be made natively are done through platforms such as Dash Hudson, or other.
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative research across social and talent led content to identify opportunities to engage with the community and provide informed direction and trending ideas for day-to-day content strategy.
- Communicate with in-house client teams and SHADOW internal teams to manage and organize approvals and flag urgent issues, including inappropriate or offensive content/community responses, along with suggested recourse.
- Support the preparation of creative briefs with community insights in mind. Research, identify and share emerging social trends or new content inspiration.
- Aggregate audience analytics for weekly / adhoc reports for supervisor review and client share out.
Annual Compensation
$65K - $80K commensurate with experience
