Enchanted Rock provides fully managed natural gas–powered microgrids as a resiliency service for mission-critical customers. It designs, installs, monitors 24/7, and maintains distributed generation systems that keep essential power on during grid failures, and these microgrids can feed power back to the grid when not in use to offset costs. The systems use natural gas and renewable natural gas to reduce emissions versus diesel backups, with potential for future hydrogen blending, and they are designed to be quieter with a smaller footprint. The company aims to improve power reliability for critical infrastructure while offering an affordable, sustainable backup option and creating revenue streams for clients through grid interconnections and reserve power services.

Erock soars 23% on $1.7B backlog from 470-MW Anthropic deal

Erock Inc. jumped 22.84% to $13.82 on Wednesday following a major equipment deal with Anthropic. The onsite power solutions provider secured a 470-MW order from Anthropic, pushing its contracted power system sales backlog to $1.7 billion and extending production commitments through 2028. The rally came despite weak second-quarter results. Erock posted net losses of $67.7 million, up 748% year-on-year due to IPO-related charges, whilst revenues fell 42% to $39.88 million. CEO John Carrington highlighted AI infrastructure's impact on power markets. The company began operations at its Hyperion manufacturing facility and started construction on a 366-MW project supporting Meta's data centre campus. For the full year, Erock targets revenues of $435 million to $465 million and adjusted EBITDA of $3 million to $9 million.

JPMorgan tips $700M fintech Wise and power firm ERock for rebounds after rough IPO debuts

J.P. Morgan has identified two recent IPO stocks with significant rebound potential despite post-listing struggles. ERock (EROC), which provides utility-scale power solutions for data centres and critical infrastructure, has fallen 42% since its June IPO that raised $600 million. J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Strouse rates it Overweight with a $24 price target, implying 122% upside. The company's natural gas-fired modular power systems address growing demand for backup power as grid reliability faces pressure. Wise (WSE), the fintech firm processing cross-border payments, has dropped 18% since moving its primary listing to Nasdaq in May. Despite regulatory scrutiny in Belgium, the company reported $2.5 billion revenue and $660.4 million pre-tax income in fiscal 2026. J.P. Morgan analyst Craig McDowell maintains an Overweight rating with a $17.50 target, suggesting 37% upside. Both stocks have Strong Buy or Moderate Buy consensus ratings from Wall Street analysts.
