  • Previous experience in a client service role; veterinary or medical experience is highly regarded.
  • Ability to confidently manage a busy multi-line switchboard and high call volumes.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or emergency situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently when required.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for animals and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all client interactions, both in person and over the phone.
  • Manage a multi-line switchboard and handle high volumes of calls efficiently.
  • Triage and respond appropriately to emergency patient enquiries, escalating when required.
  • Coordinate appointments, enquiries, and client communications.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Provide clear information on services, pricing, and hospital policies.
  • Liaise with veterinary staff to support seamless patient care.
  • Process payments and handle basic financial transactions.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
