Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering within automotive or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Statistical Process Control.
  • Familiarity with chassis, exterior, and thermal systems.
  • Ability to work independently on second shift and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor supplier quality performance for assigned chassis, exterior, and thermal commodities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for supplier-related issues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and compliance with specifications.
  • Support incoming inspection processes and resolve non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Participate in Production Part Approval Process activities and ensure proper documentation.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to address quality concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier audits, quality metrics, and corrective actions.
