Intellijoint Surgical

Intellijoint Surgical

View

Intellijoint Surgical develops smart navigation tools for joint replacement surgeries to help orthopedic surgeons place implants more accurately and with less invasiveness. Its core products are Intellijoint HIP (real-time intraoperative measurements of cup position, leg length, and offset using a miniature camera and tracker), Intellijoint KNEE (guides knee implant alignment), and Intellijoint VIEW (cloud-based pre-operative planning software). The system uses small sensors and a camera attached to the patient and instruments, feeding data to monitors and the cloud so surgeons can verify positioning without bulky navigation equipment. The company differentiates itself by offering accessible, cost-effective navigation technology designed to fit into standard operating room workflows, with the goal of improving precision and patient outcomes in hip and knee arthroplasty.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • April 13, 2026 Insurgical partnership expands U.S. sales reach and OEM distribution.
  • January 2026 management said 80,000 patients were served, heading toward 100,000 in 2026.
  • Ontario awarded $450,000 in March 2026 to automate production and add three jobs.

What critics are saying

  • Stryker, Medtronic, and Zimmer Biomet can bundle navigation into broader hospital contracts.
  • IJX remains a small customer base; the $550,000 IRAP project depends on execution.
  • If 2026 U.S., India, and Brazil expansion misses targets, growth stalls and funding tightens.

What makes Intellijoint Surgical unique

  • Intellijoint’s miniature camera delivers navigation without bulky, expensive robotics hardware.
  • VIEW, HIP, and KNEE span planning, intraoperative guidance, and knee alignment workflows.
  • IJX, launched 2026, extends core tracking tech into spine and shoulder OEM deals.
