Requirements
- Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations: a doctoral degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, Geospatial Sciences, or a related discipline and 5 years of current GEOINT analysis experience; a master's degree in those fields and 10 years of current GEOINT analysis experience; or a bachelor's degree in those fields and 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience, including at least 8 years of current GEOINT analysis experience.
- A degree in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Sciences, Geography, Cartography, Political Science, a relevant STEM discipline, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience applying space-based GEOINT capabilities to intelligence analysis is required.
- Expert knowledge of U.S. Government and commercial satellite systems, collection capabilities, tasking processes, and imagery collection protocols is required.
- Expert proficiency with GEOINT exploitation tools, including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, ArcGIS, and comparable GEOINT exploitation software, is required.
- Strong understanding of photogrammetric principles and imagery measurement techniques is required.
- Extensive experience conducting Foundational Military Intelligence analysis and baseline intelligence production is required.
- Experience applying Object-Based Production, Structured Observation Management, and Activity-Based Intelligence is required.
- Experience developing analytic models and predictive intelligence assessments is required.
- Ability to collaborate with analysts across multiple intelligence disciplines and functional organizations is required.
- Strong knowledge of Army GEOINT doctrine, National System for GEOINT policies, and Intelligence Community standards is required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing executive-level intelligence reports and multimedia briefings, are required.
- Ability to present complex intelligence findings to senior military and government leadership is required.
- A current active TS/SCI security clearance with a current SSBI is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced imagery intelligence and GEOINT analysis using national, commercial, and theater collection capabilities.
- Exploit and interpret multi-source geospatial data, satellite imagery, and remote sensing products to support operational and strategic intelligence requirements.
- Produce intelligence assessments, reports, briefing materials, and multimedia presentations for senior government decision-makers.
- Perform foundational military intelligence analysis and develop baseline intelligence reporting on foreign military capabilities, facilities, infrastructure, and activities.
- Apply advanced photogrammetric principles and geospatial analytical techniques to derive intelligence assessments.
- Develop collection strategies and collaborate with collection managers to optimize GEOINT collection efforts.
- Use GEOINT exploitation software, including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, ArcGIS, and other government-approved analytical tools.
- Apply Object-Based Production, Structured Observation Management, and Activity-Based Intelligence methodologies to improve analytic accuracy and mission outcomes.
- Conduct analytic modeling, trend analysis, pattern-of-life analysis, and predictive assessments using geospatial and intelligence data.
- Collaborate with analysts across GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and All-Source disciplines to integrate intelligence into comprehensive assessments.
- Coordinate with Intelligence Community organizations, the National System for GEOINT, Combatant Commands, and Department of Defense agencies on technical and substantive intelligence matters.
- Ensure intelligence products comply with Intelligence Community standards, GEOINT doctrine, and applicable Army, National System for GEOINT, and Intelligence Community policies.
- Present complex intelligence findings to senior military leadership, operational planners, and government stakeholders.
- Mentor junior and mid-level analysts by providing technical guidance, quality assurance, and best practices for imagery exploitation and GEOINT analysis.
- Support time-sensitive intelligence requirements and dynamic operational tasking in a high-tempo mission environment.
Desired Qualifications
- GPC-II Imagery Certification.
- Experience with commercial visualization and geospatial visualization software.
- Experience exploiting non-traditional GEOINT data sources.
- Experience integrating commercial imagery into intelligence production.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using statistical and analytical software such as SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, or similar commercial off-the-shelf analytics platforms.
- Experience with data analytics, automation, and advanced visualization techniques.
- Experience presenting technical or operational intelligence at Intelligence Community forums, working groups, conferences, or symposiums.
