Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a Construction Management role or combined experience within relevant roles is required.
  • Experience with Food & Beverage, Retail, Branding, or Luxury projects is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in various stages of development and with varying degrees of complexity is required.
  • Ability to provide clear direction and accurate project updates to various levels of internal and external stakeholders is required.
  • Basic knowledge of contracts and contract execution procedures is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and project management tools is required.
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related written communications, verbal instructions, and interactions is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams to ensure deliverables align with the contract, meet project schedules and budgets, and conform to MG2 quality standards.
  • Create and maintain milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans.
  • Assist with developing project proposals and responses to requests for proposals.
  • Monitor project financial status and complete intermediate financial reviews.
  • Produce and issue weekly project updates covering contract deliverables, financial updates, contracts, and permitting reports.
  • Lead or direct internal and external project team meetings.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control procedures for assigned projects.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve service levels and results.
  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure consistent quality and project profitability.
  • Manage team-member performance and provide accurate, relevant feedback.
  • Perform bidding, awarding, and ongoing management of general contractors and third-party vendors throughout the construction life cycle.
  • Liaise with client in-house Operations, Information Technology, Loss Prevention, and Facilities teams to support cross-functional collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform procurement activities for owner-supplied items according to project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal Construction Administration teams throughout the build cycle and contribute to shop drawing and submittal reviews and requests for information responses.
  • Perform periodic site visits to ensure projects meet quality and schedule expectations.
