  • B.S. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science (or Engineering), Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM focus area preferred (not required)
  • Experience with space systems, cyber effects on space systems, cyber threat analysis, defensive cyber operations, cyber resiliency metrics, and network service orchestration.
  • 5+ years of technical analytics experience.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation.
  • Ability to understand complex technical issues, translate them to workable tasks, and guide analytical discussions and decisions.
  • Experience with cloud-based services (i.e., AWS or Azure).
  • Experience managing complex analytics development with loosely defined requirements.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in and lead segments of force design analysis for cyber resiliency effects, specifically related to space and ground architectures for fielded, programmed, and objective forces.
  • Lead the development and integration of cyber effects into advanced modeling and simulation tools.
  • Continuously research and evaluate the existing and evolving cyber threat landscape, providing actionable recommendations for integrating critical threats into analysis and simulation of space system vulnerabilities.
  • Work as part of a larger team with customers, external partners and vendors, scientists, developers, engineers, managers, technicians, and support personnel.
  • Understand and address customer analytical needs and issues, usually by direct interface.
  • Develop and encourage a strong partner relationship with the customer and engineering leadership teams.
  • Lead complex system analytics by organizing and focusing the work of multiple engineers with diverse specialties on a common technical solution.
  • Brief industry partners, senior leaders, and general officers regularly and sometimes with little lead time.
  • Work with the Division Chief to ensure the technical team has clear deliverables with clear deadlines while keeping team focused on delivering world class analytics that include cost-effective solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • M.S. in a degree field applicable to complex technical analysis and/or systems engineering.
  • 10+ years of analytical experience with cyber related effects on space systems, network service orchestration, cyber threat analysis, and cyber resiliency metrics.
  • Experience working with at least two of the following three elements of the cyber domain: DoDIN Operations, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), or Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO)
  • Experience with cloud-based services (i.e., AWS or Azure)
  • Experience with the following Cloud technologies or their equivalents: VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EKS, Lambda, RDS.
  • AWS Solutions Architect professional certification preferred (Equivalent Azure certifications accepted).
  • Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, VPN infrastructure, load balancing, application firewalls, and distributed networks.
  • Experience with Department of War (DoW) technical programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing high tempo projects.
