Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a Master of Science degree in a related field or a Master of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Neuropsychiatry Nursing services at UCI Medical Center.
  • Provide services supporting physician and HealthSystem objectives in patient care, teaching and research, clinical resource management, and development and administration of operating, capital, and program budgets.
  • Direct, administer, coordinate, and evaluate patient care activities and support services across the Division’s cost centers.
  • Supervise managers directly and staff full-time equivalents indirectly, seven days a week and 24 hours a day.
  • Manage sensitive employee, student, health, patient, financial, strategic, proprietary, and other confidential information in accordance with organizational policies and data-protection laws.
  • Safeguard physical and digital records and use information-technology systems securely to prevent data leaks.

  • Knowledge of the Orange County healthcare market.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Experience working in a University of California and/or union environment.
