As the Product Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive product marketing strategies for our global marketing team. You will collaborate cross-functionally to create cohesive seasonal marketing briefs. The ideal candidate is collaborative and able to support projects from conception to completion.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Integrated Brand Marketing team oversees the global seasonal calendar that blends product and storytelling to serve the needs of both our business and guest. You will be working closely with the greater team to drive clear and concise communication to help bring seasonal product marketing stories to life.
If you were in the Product Marketing Specialist role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Overseeing and guiding our briefing process for all seasonal product marketing briefs with seamless internal alignment from concept to execution
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with ecommerce, brand marketing, community, operations, retail, creative and digital marketing teams
- Collecting information and working alongside the integrated brand marketing manager for all deliverables around seasonal product marketing stories
- Supporting the digital marketing team with ad hoc creative projects/marketing requests to support sell-through
- Collaborating with merch and product education teams to ensure accurate product positioning throughout all seasonal campaigns
- Work directly with the merch team to create seasonal product marketing calendars and enroll cross-functional partners in season kick-offs.
- Supporting Director, Integrated Brand Marketing and Manager, Digital Brand Marketing in setting clear KPIs for product marketing campaigns, tracking during and after campaign along with learnings from each campaigns.
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
- You have 3+ years of experience in marketing, bonus if it is within the outdoor industry
- You have experience working on creative campaigns, preferably for a DTC brand
- You are keen to learn and not afraid to ask questions
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You are confident at juggling multiple projects and can prioritize your time to meet important deadlines
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
- You have the ability and are willing to travel as necessary
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
