Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in hands-on BSA roles supporting real-world project implementations.
  • Strong background in EDI systems and standards, especially X12 and VICS.
  • Proven experience with EDI migration projects, particularly lift-and-shift initiatives from on-prem to cloud (preferred).
  • Exceptional analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, organized and document business and technical requirements for EDI data mappings and workflows.
  • Understand and document current-state EDI processes, data flows, and integration points with external partners.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders including business users, EDI partners, project managers, technical architects, developers, and QA teams.
  • Identify the usage, dependencies, and improvement opportunities in the existing EDI implementation.
  • Translate business and EDI requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Provide sample data sets, test scenarios, and knowledge transfer to QA and development teams.
  • Ensure adherence to EDI best practices and compliance standards during the migration process.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proven experience with EDI migration projects, particularly lift-and-shift initiatives from on-prem to cloud (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the use of VANs (Value-Added Network), AS2 and EZComm within the EDI implementation context is a plus.
