Responsibilities
  • Complete an email contact project for the insureds/brokers for the Commercial Auto and Garage team. This project involves reaching out to brokers and making contact with insureds to verify and update contact information.
  • Follow up on lost large quotes to confirm what competitor we lost to. This involves gathering information from brokers on who we lost the quote to and why. This serves as a marketing tool to help us improve for the future.
  • Assist with driver / vehicle ratio review – Reports or alerts are generated when we have more vehicles in the fleet than the number of drivers available. The intern will work with our Underwriting Technicians send out a letter to the broker to request additional drivers, as well as obtaining Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) on the drivers.
  • May be assigned other duties, such as clerical items
