Requirements
  • Provide at least ten years of Logistics Acquisition and Sustainment support experience, or thirteen years if not Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level 2 certified, including logistics management principles, practices, and processes.
  • Write and track System Configuration Documents in SPIDER and understand the modernization process for System Configuration Documents.
  • Create, populate, edit, and track current and future System Configuration Documents for commercial satellite communications.
  • Have at least six years of experience supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems.
  • Demonstrate management skills in analyzing contracts, system design specifications, and engineering or systems management data, and in developing logistics plans, procedures, management plans, and guidelines.
  • Have experience supervising Logistics Specialists.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintain a Secret United States Department of Defense security clearance.
  • Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Interface effectively with technical and management personnel.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Operating Material and Supplies inventory management support, including Navy Enterprise Resource Planning book-to-floor inventory inspections.
  • Create and provide Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System database inventory reports and as-installed configuration management reports upon request.
  • Respond to material shipment request emails and create shipment documents for worldwide outgoing and return shipments.
  • Update the Catalog Ordering Logistic Tracking System database with real-time status of Program of Record spares allocation, location, and material condition.
  • Research Navy Supply’s One Touch Supply database, SATCOM Integrated Logistics Support products, technical publications, approved parts lists, and other databases to obtain parts weight, dimensions, reference designators, Navy Stock Numbers, and Source Maintenance and Recoverability codes.
  • Support International Partner Navy Multiband Terminal systems by responding to notifications of failed parts and creating and routing offline Information Technology Service Management forms.
  • Coordinate Installation Check Out Spares support, including database updates, international shipments, and failed assets returned to NIWC LANT, Chesapeake for No Evidence of Failure testing.
  • Coordinate depot overhaul, modification, and tracking of Navy Multiband Terminal X-Band High Power Amplifier Power Condition Units, including database modification updates.
  • Coordinate Navy Multiband Terminal EBEM inventory and management, including creating and submitting offline Information Technology Service Management tickets to track failed EBEM repair efforts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certified in Lifecycle Acquisition Logistics Level 2, equivalent logistics training, or an additional three years working directly in defense life-cycle logistics.
