Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the work by a team of mechanical systems engineers in the research and development of novel electrical, mechanical, software and systems related to advanced 3D HI processes. Develop, coordinate, oversee, and ensure completion of multiple project task lists and schedules related to the design, fabrication, assembly, and tests of equipment systems.
  • Manage and direct assigned projects with emphasis on time schedule control, coordination of project development and implementation, and communication with designated clients.
  • Develops project plans including project life cycle, budgets, resource requirements, change management processes, risk management, key milestones, communication mechanisms, test plans and deliverables.
  • Implements and recommends policies and procedures to ensure compliance of all applicable laws, University policies, rules and regulations.
  • Manages project implementation including emergent issues with emphasis on time schedule control to ensure all tasks are completed within established deadlines and budgets.
  • Prepares detailed reports on project progress with stakeholders and team leads to include project plans, barriers and solutions, milestones, financial costs/projections and analyses. Coordinate with key stakeholders and team leads to manage scope changes.
  • Manages, develops, directs and evaluates assigned projects utilizing accepted project management methodologies, communication and consultation with stakeholders and project team members.
  • Interfaces with facilities and outside contractors to coordinate and manage resources.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and team leads to manage scope changes.
  • Tracks requirements/specifications and changes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Other related functions as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in technical project management.
  • Experience with semiconductors, automation, andhardware/software.
  • Project Management Professional certification
  • Experience in Engineering
