Requirements
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Prior experience working in financial services, with a focus on investment accounting, performance and attribution, and security reference data.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Technology Stack (.NET Core, C#, SQL Server).
  • Experience designing relational databases and/or reporting data warehouses.
  • Experience building APIs and services for data access and integration purposes.
  • Prior experience working with Amazon Web Services is preferred.
  • Prior experience with the Snowflake Data Platform is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Containers, Service Discovery, Secrets Management, Microservice Architecture, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Additional application/toolset experience: Jira, GitLab, Consul, Vault, Docker, Terraform, Sonarqube, NewRelic.
  • Ability to work and learn independently with limited oversight.
Responsibilities
  • Work with an agile delivery team to enhance and support cash flow software applications and workflow automations.
  • Build new cloud-based solutions to support data quality, workflow automation, and simplify/centralize data for reporting and ad-hoc analytics.
  • Work directly with our business partners to design, implement, test, and deploy solutions.
  • Support the daily operations of our business partners and help to research and triage reported issues.
  • Analyze and document business systems and proactively identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform programmatic data analysis, define data governance and quality checks, and define process controls.
  • Design, develop, and maintain performance and attribution systems to meet the firm's evolving needs.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness by implementing robust data management practices.
  • Document system architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
